Storage and transport of dangerous goods demands high requirements on security. This is reflected in the numerous laws and regulations which must be adhered to. To achieve this, security and regulation relevant master data must be maintained and kept up-to-date. Both the Goods Receipt and Goods Issue processes must be appropriately designed in order to meet the requirements for security: Put-away strategies must consider storage compatibility or quantity limitations which result from the official permits or the VCI compatibility matrix for dangerous goods.
