inconsoISW - System Supervision

High availability concepts have become indispensable for companies in today's dynamic business community. To ensure the technical availability of complex logistics systems permanently, inconsoISW supervises (Intelligent System Watch) network availability, operating systems, databases and applications. It generates evaluations and sets off alarms in an early warning system before issues reach critical statuses. inconso introduces a system that covers all levels of the IT process, can be easily implemented and uses negligible performance (PC) requirements. inconsoISW runs on all common operating systems. As a rule, it is often operating on the WMS database system alongside the regular running WM databases. inconsoISW is based on an Oracle database and is specialized on applications accessing it. The ISW background process checks cyclically the system statuses like CPU utilization, system parameters, availability of data blocks, drive occupancies, table sizes and access times and reports critical statuses using the set procedure (e-mail, SMS, ...).  inconsoISW simultaneously registers the data of the application and provides it for overviews and preventative configuration customizations in form of a status e-mail. Furthermore, the collected data are held available and can be evaluated using a Java Front-end in correlation to each other over time periods. From this, necessary expansions for the future can be recognized early. Many customers already use inconsoISW and appreciate the flexibility of the product. It allows for the adaptation of the system to the desired environment quickly and individually. A basic configuration is productive already within a few hours and is generally put completely into production after a single fine tuning.
